We are ready to welcome you back to find out more about the quirky world of the Ironbridge Coracles. Their history is peppered across the Gorge, from the Old Coracle Shed situated close to the Ironbridge, to the New Coracle Shed at the Green Wood Centre in Coalbrookdale.

Attractions include

  • The Old Coracle Shed which is now a museum which you view through the window from the footpath outside.
  • The Coracle Sculpture Situated on the river bank near the Museum of the Gorge
  • The New Coracle Shed at the Green Wood Centre.  The exhibition and interactive activities tell the fascinating story of the coracle families of Ironbridge, Open times and activities vary
  • Coracle Trail This gentle walk of approximately 1 mile can be started from any point in the Gorge


All the attractions are wheel chair accessible There is level access from the local Council pay and display car parks which have Blue Badge Parking

There is Blue Badge Parking at the Green Wood Centre with a sloped wheel accessible ramp to the New Coracle Shed
