The Trust runs coracle making courses in conjunction with Small Woods Association based at the Greenwood Centre, Coalbrookdale.
You will learn:
- to select suitable ash laths
- techniques for bending laths to shape
- nailing, clenching nails
- fixing and tailoring the calico cover ready for painting
You will have a wonderful Ironbridge Coracle to take home!
Dates this year are
- 3rd -4th May 2025 (Fully Booked)
- 22nd – 24th August 2025
- 11th – 12th October 2025
