Why sponsor us? 

The stories of the Ironbridge Coracle and the annual Coracle Regatta are integral to the history of the World Heritage Site of the Ironbridge Gorge. The Trust depends totally on our wonderful volunteers and donations to keep on doing what we’re doing. The regatta is our biggest fundraising event and by sponsoring the regatta or just by making a donation you will help keep the varied stories of coracles alive.

Headline Sponsor £3000

This year the Coracle Regatta is part of the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Festival and for just £3000 your company could headline sponsor the whole of this important World Heritage Festival. In addition to the benefits listed above there will be the opportunity for a free advertisement at the Telford Balloon Festival in August (attracting some 45,000 + visitors)

Duck Race £250

The Duck Race is possibly the slowest race in the world as the river is so slow at that time of year but it’s also our biggest fundraiser. Tickets for the Duck race is always a sell-out.  The upside is that Duck Race gives a LOT of time to mention your name. 

Coracle Drift £250

The grand finale of the regatta.  20+ coracles drift down the river from Dale End, under the Iron Bridge to get out at the Old Coracle Shed.  There is an opportunity to fly your banner as we go. 

Enter a team into the Fussler Potts Race £50

We have one team race, the Fussler Potts relay race. Fussler Potts was a renowned poacher.  The winning team has their name engraved on the coveted Fussler Potts Trophy which they get to keep for a year.   We can provide some coracle paddling coaching sessions before the

Prizes are needed big and small as well as bottles for our win a bottle stall.  

We would welcome just a small donation of money  if you feel sponsoring is just a bit  too much!
